Founder & Co-Owner
Jimmy Hamblin brings hands-on construction experience and a strong focus on helping childcare businesses succeed. At Callaway Childcare Construction, he works closely with owners, offering cost-saving ideas to ensure every center is safe, functional, and profitable.
He takes pride in seeing kids learn and play in the spaces his team builds and enjoys getting creative with themed designs. After fixing plenty of other builders’ mistakes, Jimmy plans for compliance and profitability from day one.
Construction is stressful, especially when the stakes and budgets are high. That’s why Jimmy’s goal at Callaway Construction is to make the process as smooth and painless as possible.
Jeff Park
Co-Owner
With over 12 years of commercial construction expertise, Jeff Park co-leads Callaway Childcare Construction, focusing on early learning center builds and renovations. He specializes in navigating licensing requirements, coordinating trades, and managing complex, multi-location projects.
Jeff leads with structure and transparency. He keeps teams aligned through detailed scopes of work, collaborative design reviews, and shared project platforms. He also ensures consistent quality through regular site visits, clear milestones, and open communication with clients and crews.
One proud moment: a ribbon-cutting where the client walked through in tears, seeing their vision come to life. For Jeff, it’s never just about the building. It’s about building trust and creating spaces that serve kids, families, and communities.
Anne Hamblin
Office Manager
Anne Hamblin is the steady hand behind Callaway Childcare Construction’s day-to-day operations. As Office Manager, she ensures that projects run smoothly from kickoff to closeout and supporting both field crews and clients with clarity and care.
She keeps internal systems humming and ensures every moving part - whether it's permitting, safety compliance, or workflow updates - lands exactly where it needs to.
A former educator, Anne brings a deep understanding of how physical spaces impact children’s learning and development. For her, it's not just about keeping things organized, it’s about creating environments where kids can feel safe, inspired, and free to grow.
What she loves most? Being part of a company that builds futures, one bright, joyful learning space at a time.
Tony Dickey
Construction Site Manager
At Callaway Childcare Construction, Tony Dickey runs safe, well-coordinated sites with a hands-on approach. He leads daily inspections, trains subcontractors on child-specific safety protocols, and maintains tight timelines through weekly progress checks and clear communication.
What sets his work apart is his attention to detail. Case in point: Tony once paused construction to lower the windows for toddler-height views. It wasn’t in the original plans, but he knew it would make a difference—and it did. He loves walking clients through finished spaces, pointing out how classroom flow, safety features, and natural light were all intentionally designed.
Tony’s focus is always on the people, especially the kids who will learn and grow in the spaces he helped create.
Shelby Smith
Construction Site Manager (Arizona)
Shelby Smith manages childcare and residential projects across Arizona with speed and a sharp eye on the schedule. He builds tight timelines, keeps subs and suppliers aligned, and solves problems before they slow things down.
During a framing delay, Shelby re-sequenced the job on the spot, pulling trades forward, adjusting deliveries, and keeping everything on track. The client never felt the delay.

Veronica Stephenson
Executive Administrator
Veronica Stephenson keeps Callaway’s operations running smoothly behind the scenes. She connects the office, field teams, and clients. From coordinating schedules to managing documentation and relaying critical updates, she makes sure nothing slips through the cracks.
From change orders and work orders to invoicing accuracy, Veronica handles the moving parts clients rarely see but always feel. Her work ensures projects stay on schedule, reduces errors, and fosters clear, consistent communication throughout.
